An Alternative way can be creation of 2 reports and applying EPMDIMENSIONOVERRIDE accordingly in a way that if suppose August is selected, 1st report would show Jan - July data and second from Aug-dec. Then from EPMFORMATTING Sheet, appropriate locking formats can be set i.e. locked cells for 1st report and unlocked for the 2nd one or 1st report can be of Report form and 2nd can be used as input form.
